I provide individual therapy in my private practice, which is a confidential, safe and respectful space to address the difficulties clients are experiencing. Within clinical psychology, therapists are trained to work from a number of different therapy models. This means I can work flexibly with each client and create a new and appropriate therapy depending on the issues clients want to work through. I take a holistic approach, working at the client’s pace, exploring and processing interactions between thoughts, emotions and behaviour within relationships and different contexts. Where appropriate, I consider these interactions in relation to physical wellbeing, for example clients experiencing chronic pain. My approach also takes into account culture, race, gender, power, sexual and societal issues.
Throughout our sessions I aim to encourage clients to be kind to themselves and curious about their lives so they can think more flexibly and move more freely.
