I have a special interest and passion for women's health. I offer women support for a range of mental health problems (click here). In this section I want to highlight areas where counselling may be of particular help, for example, significant transitions and periods of adjustment related to pre-birth, postnatal wellbeing and the early years of motherhood. This period is a challenge for many women and can be particularly difficult within the context of being an expatriate. Maintaining and sustaining wellbeing during this time can be hard when you are far from your home support and health care system. Women are vulnerable to experiencing both mental and physical health problems throughout pregnancy and motherhood for a variety of reasons. I offer a calm, safe environment, a time dedicated to yourself, to explore these difficulties so that we can work collaboratively towards improving your life at a time when it feels hard to prioritise your own wellness.
